As experienced learning solutions providers, who interface with many different vendors, learning platforms, and learning strategies, LearnGauge members are highly experienced with interoperability standards (SCORM, AICC, QTI) and are advocates for their usage. In our experience accepting standards and working with them is critical to the success of many projects that seek to take advantage of the wide variety of content and service providers available in the learning and development space. Additionally, when clients require standards compliant content they protect themselves from developing critical dependencies on individual vendors, tools, or systems.
As consultants we work with clients to help them understand how to make these standards work to their advantage for the security of their project and organization. Our work with clients in this area includes analysis of current learning environment and technologies in use within an organization, development of standards for clients, and consulting on process improvement for successfully implementing standards.
